ISREC ADVENTURE EXTREME CLUB & JABATAN PERHUTANAN NEGERI KELANTAN
TNBYY Ultra (previously known as TNBYY Dayhike Challenge) is an ultra trail challenge nestled in the Northern part of Titiwangsa Range with majestic views of the mountain range of 7,000 feet above the sea. The acronym stands for “Tok Nenek Bubu Yong Yap” (TNBYY) and makes reference to the iconic Mount Tok Nenek, Mount Bubu and Mount Yong Yap where one of the mountain is among the 7 highest peaks in the peninsular of Malaysia.
At a distance of 50km, runners have to traverse across the jungle, track over 20 rivers, bamboo paths and flutter tracks that will test the mental and physical endurance of the runners. The challenges don’t stop there as the cold and windy peak conditions will make this race a true test to the runner’s body and mind. Consequently, extensive experience in hiking is also important hence we recommend that all runners come fully prepared.
All risks during the race will be borne by runners itself. Hence, taking care of your own safety is your number one personal priority as well as skills in handling any minor problems or injuries that may or may happen during the race.
Trans Tok Nenek – Bubu – Yong Yap (Tnbyy) is not a convenient journey. It’s not about racing, but it’s about challenging yourself to a higher level.
